Congratulations to Art Corral, Darrin Leggett, and David Williams on winning a position on the board.
Also, this year the training will be before the general meeting. They begin at 4:30 pm followed by the general meeting at 6 pm. Training is required for those officials who have less than 3 years of umpiring experience, but anyone can attend and they are quite helpful for all umpires. The meetings and training will be at Prairie High School again this year in the same room as last year, Room 903! Please note the change for under the events, it is not 309 but 903.
If you can start setting your blocks for the year as this will greatly help not only you and your fellow officials but the assigner (Chuck Perine as well).
If you know anyone interested in becoming an umpire please encourage them to attend our training sessions and meeting or have them get a hold of a board member.
We at EFPOA would like to congratulate Autumn Beck of Fort Vancouver High School for winning the 2016 scholarship. We wish her success in her future.
It’s here the 2017 Scholarship application!!
Interested in becoming an Umpire? If you are interested in becoming an umpire for the 2017 high school and/or ASA season, please email us with your contact information and we’ll get you started! Training will begin in January 2017. firstname.lastname@example.org
All New officials: if you are planning to work High School games this year you need to get all your paperwork in before you will get a game. You can find the paperwork under GENERAL DOCUMENTS. They will be highlighted in RED.
All Members should complete an EFPOA INFORMATION SHEET if you have not filled one out before or have done something postseason since the last time you filled out the form.
